Metropolitan Ambulance Infrastructure - Sydney

Metropolitan Ambulance Infrastructure - Sydney

Master programming, planning & delivery

SJA's Planning and Programming division were appointed to facilitate the planning and delivery of 12 ambulance stations throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area, over a four year period. The $150 million dollar project was delivered by Health Infrastructure as part of the Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy (SAMIS) Program.
Phase one covered planning and delivery of the project from site acquisition to commissioning.
Phase two involved monthly project status updates, meeting with stakeholders to progress the master program, and three month forward planning reports.
A master program and variance summary report were also prepared. These highlighted variances at key project milestones and outlined project base-lines allowing for progress monitoring and variance tracking, specifically between planned versus actual time frames. The methodologies enabled the team to provide effective strategies and ensure timely delivery of the project.
