SJA was commissioned to provide Lendlease with project planning & programming support for their early contractor involvement stage on what will be the tallest building in Sydney upon completion. This was a short term role intended to provide the necessary planning & programming expertise whilst Lendlease sourced a full-time member of staff to fill the role on a permanent basis. The role was primarily to incorporate a new construction methodology to the program previously issued at the post-bid stage, whilst trying to maintain the separable portion dates confirmed previously by Lendlease. The revised program was also to be discussed and reviewed by SJA with the AMP consultant planner.
As part of this role, SJA was responsible for agreeing and revising the construction program to incorporate trade partner program feedback.
SJA’s role also involved; attending design meetings to understand the scope of works changes to be incorporated as new/changed activities, the addition of construction activities trades labour resources, program checking and reviewing logic linkages, critical paths, and total float prior to Lendlease’s internal planning review.
