Perth Children’s Hospital

SJA was commissioned by Fredon Air to produce a high-level report and program information to substantiate Fredon Air’s entitlement to time-dependent costs resulting from Resequencing/Acceleration/Suspension of their Works brought about by the Main Contractor, post-signing of a deed of the agreement containing updated separable portion handover dates for the works.

SJA’s production of a labour resource loaded baseline program of works indicated Fredon’s methodology and sequence to achieve the separable portion completion dates in the Deed of Agreement. SJA impacted a copy of the baseline “Program of Works” by linking Fredon Air confirmed resequencing, suspension and acceleration events activities which when rescheduled produced revised completion dates for the planned activities.

This also included the additional labour resourced variation works activities. The production of this labour resource loaded baseline program of works demonstrated that the variance between the impacted and planned activity finish dates entitled Fredon Air to time-related costs i.e. the additional time required to complete the tasks. It also shows the overall entitlement to an extension of time against the agreed stage completion dates.
