SJA was engaged by Watpac Construction Pty Ltd to carry out an external review and validation of Watpac final account figures for a number of subcontract accounts. SJA was engaged to provide its own independent assessment of the accounts and assist the project team in concluding all outstanding valuation of variations.
During this process, SJA provided commercial resources to the existing commercial team. By providing its own independent valuation of disputed variation amounts, SJA was able to provide impartial advice and propose strategies to the Watpac site team to assist them in their negotiations and settlement of various final accounts.
